Thanatos - Paperback
by Eva Pohler (Author)
She kissed Death. Now he won't let her go.
Seventeen-year-old Therese Mills survives the unthinkable.
After a brutal attack leaves her parents dead and her heart barely beating, Therese slips into a coma-and crosses a boundary no living soul should cross.
In the shadowed realm between life and death, she meets him.
Thanatos.
Beautiful. Dangerous. Eternal.
He is Death-son of Hades-tasked with escorting souls to the Underworld. He has watched humanity for millennia without ever being touched by it.
Until Therese.
In a moment of reckless courage, she kisses him.
It is the first kiss Death has ever known.
When Therese awakens in the world of the living, grieving and alone, Than cannot forget her. He makes a forbidden bargain with Hades and takes mortal form to find her.
But loving Death comes with a price.
To stay together, Therese must avenge her parents' murder and survive a deadly trial orchestrated by the gods themselves. If she fails, she won't just lose Than.
She'll lose her life.
And this time, Death won't be able to save her.
In this epic reimagining of Greek mythology, love defies fate, gods wage war, and even Death can fall.
